Weekends are the Best! (April 5-6, 2014)

Weekends are the best!

We started a beautiful, sunny Saturday morning off with dad doing some yoga with the girls while mom slept in. Lily found dad's sunglasses and had a blast. She says "super cool!" which sounds like "soot coo" and is super cute

Chloe was just chilling as usual. Even though she can be unsteady at times, i realized that a nice ring of blankets around her prevents any crying from cracking her head on the floor. Now she just gently tips over every once in awhile and gets promptly propped back up =)

... and then it IS Switzerland, so went off to the chocolate factory down the street which is one of the best in Switzerland. It is free all you can eat samples. Dad enjoyed it very much. Then it was time for a photo op on one of their plastic white and red cows.

... and then back at the house we got ready to head down to the dining hall for a nice early dinner. Lily found dad's beanie and decided to put on the "hat!"

... and then the sunglasses again. She loves the sunglasses. We bought her her own pair a few days after this, so she would be prepared for our all inclusive resort in Egypt next weekend.

Here is Lily hanging out waiting for our early dinner. Ever since the time change, it is just sunny and warm all afternoon and the sun never seems to set.

I love this pic!

Chloe was just being her normal happy self. Chilling on the grass, feeling it, watching Lily, taking it all in.

... and then Sunday morning, mom and dad took the girls out to a new park. Of course this park also has a ridiculous view, as seemingly ever place in Switzerland is just incomprehensibly beautiful.

Ride! Ride Lily!

"oh, what's that? a beautiful lake?"

"oh, and wonderful sun?"

Chloe and Mama enjoying the beautiful day.

What a great shot!

 Matching sweaters!

My new favorite photo. Me and my girls hanging out on the slide.

... and then when we got home, Mama made a cool concoction. She mixed shaving cream and corn starch to make homemade fluff. It was a little moldable sandbox in the front yard. Mom and dad has as much fun as Lily with this one ... and of course half the fun is making a mess. "Messy!" Lily says

All the while, Chloe is just hanging out giggling. "What? No fluff for me? No problem."

... and then after dinner dad and the girls went outside to play. "Saw-wee" aka Sarah, Lily's babysitter, brought her some watermelon. Lily LOVED it and just kept smiling while pink juice dribbled all over her. After each mouthful, she would say "messy"
