The sun is finally out in full force, so off to the beach we go! In Switzerland there are these things called Lidos, which are like private tennis/swim/beach/boat/pool clubs. You can pay about $10 and get in. It has manicured sand beaches, beautiful scenery, pools, kiddy pools, tennis courts, and more. It was a blast.

We went with three other families that have kids around Lily's age and Lily had a blast!
... and Chloe had a blast too!
... and then after an hour or two at the beach, we moved to ... the freaking amazing kiddy pool.
Oh, how do you deal with the sand from the beach not getting into the pool you ask? Oh, no biggy the swiss are freaking clever and efficient.
Yeah, that's right. They have an ankle deep pool of water that you have to walk through to get to the pool area. So smart! Then there are showers too. The adult pools aren't so bad either ... and the view is amazing.
Lily loved our day at the beach!
