Lily's First Time Using the Potty! (February 23, 2014)

As soon as Lily learned the word for potty we bought her a kiddy toilet and reinforced her use of the word. I just happened to be filming Lily and mama playing with books ... and then all of a sudden, at the 1:15 mark, Lily says "I pee pee." Then we just erupt in "really?! you did?!" and so on ... high fives ... what a moment

Lily and Dad Having Fun as Always (February 22, 2014)

God Lily just melts my heart. Getting that girl to smile and laugh is just the best thing in the world. Here we are just bouncing on an exercise ball. The photos are great, but the memories and feelings are.

Valentine's Day (February 14, 2014)

We didn't get many photos as this was a CRAZY day. There was definitely not an adult date-night thing going on here. A big application was due, grades and comments for the first semester were due, and I was leaving at 7am the day after for a week of backpacking in the snow (hard to pack for!). All that being said, it was a great day and here are the few shots we got!

Chloe's Hair Styles (February 8, 2014)

Choe's Toupee can be used in many different ways. Speaking with friends, it is apparrent that we are lucky. Other kids commonly have all of their long hairs in the back and thus have a mullet. Chloe conveniently has all of her long hairs on the top front of her head, meaning they can be styled in so many ways ... we had a blast one Saturday evening doing just this.

 ... oh now it becomes clear why her hair was so crazy. Look who was in charge!

 ... what is this? After crazy hair time ... we ... saw ... other adults?!?! No way! A social life? Does that happen any more? Actually this is Cori. Her and her husband Brendan (yes, there is another one!) came over and set up their new projector on our wall. They also brought over the ingredients and baked fresh cookies (delicious!). We had a great night.
